The demo is great, but I still don't think this is the type of game that I'd pay full price for. I'll definitely pick it up after the inevitable price drop to the $20 - $30 level, though.
My only complaints right now are the inconsistent frame rate and the fact that the driving felt a little too floaty.
THQ should probably give me a free copy of this game. I've generated 100 percent more interest with this thread.
If it works for RDM, then it should work for KotP.
guys, new stuntman demo is up on marketplace and it DELIVERS. its probably the most stunning amazing thing ever conceived by a human being. Gamespot has a hands on impression of the multiplayer, which they call "the single most important thing to ever happen in the universe, but only if you play it on the 360. ps3 version suffers from framerate issues and AIDS."
check it out.
DAY ONE. I'm going to go preorder right now.
The demo is really damn good. It feels like someone took PGR's kudos system and stuck it in an action movie. This is the kind of sequel the industry needs more of. :tu: I also like how subtle some of the level design quirks are -- like getting through the car wash on the lava level is easy, but if you nail it perfectly you get a huge multiplier bonus as you barely miss a bunch of cones and car wash equipment.
I played through and finished the first game (couldn't bring myself to 100% it, as the loading times put me on life tilt). More refined mechanics and no loading = day one plz.
I'm glad to see Stuntman finally getting the love that it deserves. God bless you TNL.
I like how the demo actually lets you play for a decent amount of time. It's good stuff. This is another game to throw on the "to buy eventually" list.
Downloading the demo. I hope it's awesome.
