Looks identical to the PSP game.
That's a brilliant idea. I've always wanted to mount my PSP on top of my Dual Shock 2.
(The controller in the picture is not a Sixaxis. Where's the PS button?)
If they're going to implement the "controller as a private screen" like Dreamcast with the VMU, or GameCube with the GBA, then I'd prefer to just use the PSP alone.
Question for you PS3 owners:
How big is the PS2 game improvement on an HD screen when using an Emotion Engine-equipped PS3?
What exactly does it do in technical terms?
I don't think there's any difference, visually. The draw to EE PS3s is the whole hardware vs. software emulation thing. Fewer bugs, in other words.
edit: Misunderstood. There's no visual difference between PS3s that are using hardware or software emulation (software-enabled PS3s won't be in America until the 80 gig model is released,) but there IS a difference when compared to a regular PS2.
I broke down tonight and bought a PS3, but now that its sitting in the box and staring at me. I can't justify a reason for it.
Lair looks tempting, but after that. I don't know what I'll use it for. Anyone know if the emulators in linux run have way decent? I'm curious in regards to performance, since it can't access the GPU.
The biggest things you're going to notice are color and clarity, and smoothness. I tried my damndest to make some real quick comparisons.

Don't even bother. It all looks the same to Cheebs.
So, uh, was this supposed to show me something about better AI? That guy was just as dumb as the rest of them.Quote:

Personally, I thought Heavenly Sword was better than I expected - the counter moves were pretty damn cool. I didn't have any problems with the frame rate either, odd, that different people would have different performance out of the same demo. I don't know if I'll be getting it though, DW6 is still first in line for my button mashing dollar, and DMC 4 is coming up soon too. Don't have Sigma yet, either. HS seems pretty solid though, gives me hope that I'll like Lair's actual game better than I have its media so far as well.
