for those who even moderately enjoyed blast factor, the advanced research add on is a must get. The add on brings an updated engine to the entire game, with more sound effects, better visuals, better sixaxis response, ect. Alone, Advanced Research brings its own set of challenges and a more aggressive enemy and boss system then the original 7.

/Play magazine really does give any game with any sort of hype a 9 or a 10, regardless of actual quality. Of course there are a few that actually deserve those scores (i.e. Gears, which definitely didn't deserve a 10, but a 9), the majority of those games that are rated highly are typically average games.

That is when you are downloading something in the background, if you decide to play say a ps1 or ps2 game the download stops... I thought the whole point of downloading in the background was so you could do other things while it's downloading. I was wondering why it took hours for a download to complete...
In all fairness, the downloads stop on the 360 when you play a BC game, too.

Anyway I really don't care to add more to the subject. On another note regarding the ps3, I got my HDMI cables today and I decided to see what DVDs look like in 1080p. When I start the dvd up while it's loading the screen goes static and you hear static for about half a second and then it loads up and plays fine. Has anyone else seen this?
