That sucks to hear. All I know is we were told to use the RROD to try to sell the PRP's. I never worked at customer service, but it would be BS if they used the RROD to sell PRP's but didn't honor it. It really comes down to management.

Its a pretty clean transfer. i haven't seen the other versions that are out there, so I can't compare. The image is slightly cropped, but you would really have to go out of your way to notice it, honestly.

Best Buy gave me shit over the warranty but eventually let me trade my Pro in for credit. Since they can't transfer a Pro warranty to an Elite, I got $45 in credit (half of the warranty left=half the price in credit) so I walked out with an elite for $6. Win. Blah blah blah Gears of War blah blah.

The version I have looks like an old VHS copy dumped onto a DVD.

Which warranty did you get Nomi? Mine was $40 for 2 years.
