MSI 680i chipset motherboard with onboard X-Fi
evga 8800GTX Superclocked
2gb Corsair Dominator @ 1066mhz
Intel Quad 6600 OC to 2.7ghz
HP w2207 widescreen LCD (1680x1050 native)

Plus a bunch of bells and whistles like aftermarket heatsinks, a huge case and the keyboard and mouse you see there. Also Supreme Commander and STALKER.

Special thanks to Razor and those who convinced me I should go ahead and build my own computer. You guys were right and now I have proof. I've never had a high performance (for its time) computer and it's pretty damn awesome. I can throw just about anything at it and it doesn't even blink.

(Yes, my carpet is filthy.)

Yeah, I read up on that, and honestly it's non-news. By the time any game will require 10.1, let alone DX10, it will be years and years down the line. Dick move from MS but won't mean much in the long run.

Bought it over Steam last night, and it took a little over an hour to download and install. Fucking awesome. If I weren't stuck waiting for payday, I would have jumped all over that ID superpack and got Painkiller as well.
