What's the Oddest Thing You Ever Ate?
The chef at the place I work at was talking to an employee, trying to convince him to eat frog legs and I chimed in with ‘if you ever have occasion to make frog legs, I’d try them’ after I was asked if I would. Apparently this was a trap, and I, rather foolishly walked right into it, because three days later I see José defrosting what looks like two shell-less shrimp kissing, they were in-fact, frog legs, and I was made to man up and eat my words. He cooked them and chilled them in aspic afterwards to make a terrine, so the texture was odd, but it really did taste like chicken.
