RUN ITS JASON!!!!!
Someone having a lot of merchandise from something they love doesn't make 'em faggots. If it did, I think I'd be in trouble. Besides, what's the point of coming in here if you hate the series, anyways? Oh, you're trying to be a cut-rate troll, aren't you? My that's cute.

I never said collecting toys makes you a faggot... go back and do your research. Fuck it I'll do it for you...See.. wasn't me.
also, I enjoyed the series up until part 6... not my fault the rest sucked.
Not trolling... it's the truth and that pic was already used on me like 3 months ago... btw.
Never said collecting toys makes you a faggot. I just said you're a faggot if you actually play with them or think they'll enable you to retire to Hawaii or something.
NOOOOOO!
7 is actually one of the less cheesy and better-made enteries of the series. It kinda went to shit after 7 (Part 6 was a favorite as well), but the new movie looks like it's going to be quality stuff.Quote:
I'm actually going to throw Friday the 13th 7 up on my Netflix and give it another shot... been a while, maybe in my old age I will think it's good.
I'm more a fan of the character of Jason than anything else.
Good Christ guys, quit being such raging vaginas about F13 toys. I used to do it with Gundam models, and I have a few old toys around my room, I'm just saying I'm over getting new ones.
Unless I get a goddamn fish tank.
I can't think of anything cooler than the F13 pt. 6 'Jason choking Tommy Jarvis' thingy in a fish tank.
I'm just bitter that my parents tossed out all of my He-Man toys, I lost all my Thunder-Cat toys and my brother blew up all my Ninja Turtle toys.
I will agree with you on that one, if I were to think about buying any of those it would be the Jason & Tommy one and it would have to go in a fish tank.
I thought this was pretty neat. SScollectables has a lot of 2nd chance Jason stuff up.
Oh dear.
This is actually cool news, except for the whole buying all of 'em again thing. Which I won't, unless this set is a VAST improvement over the old one. Let's face it, Paramount didn't even really try with the old set. Yeah, there were interviews, yeah the Part 7 footage was finally seen, but that was about it. Paramount pretty much just slapped together the set, not really bothering to scour their vaults for any type of extra footage. They even turned down one of the guys involved in the set's request to go through the vaults himself. I understand that the series is looked down upon by the studio, that they are embarassed by it... I think they threw together what they had due to fans clamoring for a set.Quote:
Our man Andrew Kasch just called in with some very good news for you Friday the 13th freaks out there...
There has been speculation since the Friday the 13th remake came to life again that perhaps Paramount would go back and give us a decent F13 box set. Well, an inside source confirmed for us today that that’s exactly what’s going down! Paramount is working on a brand new, revamped Friday the 13th box set that will hopefully put their first attempt to shame.
No word on any of the features yet, but we do know that there is a lot being planned. Of course the goal is to have it done in time for the remake’s release on February 13th, 2009, but only time will tell if that mark is hit.
Stay tuned for official details as they come in, as well as even more cool Friday news very soon!
The interviews were just ok. The main thing that excites me about this new set is the potential involvment of New Line. I really don't see why not. They're working together on the new film. Maybe this set will have from Friday the 13th down to F vs J. That'd be cool. Plus, there's a guy making a feature length documentary on the history of the series. Kind of a filmed Crystal Lake Memories. Maybe that's for the set. I hope so, because the series does need one single comprehensive doc on the series. As I said, Paramont's was meh, and I did like the Many Lives of Jason Voorhees on the Jason X dvd, but both of them suffered by not being able to really address the other studio's films.

Interesting. If this box set is a huge improvement over the somewhat bare-bones original I'll pick it up.
At the very least, all the films better have commentary tracks and be completely unrated with all cut footage inserted back in.
