I saw that shit, it's like Baby's First Boss Fight.
I tried it out for a couple weeks, it's neat looking but doesn't really work for shit on a bunch of fights anyway (like LK). Pretty much the only thing it's actually good for is watching timers on shit like spores since it displays them on the projected radius, and that's hardly critical.

That's a good point, that was how we rolled in heroics before. This is just normal shit with a buff, should be even easier.

Should be, but if you're losing people to valks even with the 20% you obviously need more dps.
Make sure a pally uses holy wrath right when they land, then based on what you have a grounding totem / frost trap / mind flay will be enough to keep it inside the map before you kill it. Dave should ALWAYS be far away from the group near the edge, preferably to the south of you guys are aiming valks left and right; if he gets picked up he should be spaming the ever loving fucking out of demonic teleport or whatever so the second he drops he just lands up top again, that will buy you lots of free dps on arthas.
Trees are horrible for that fight anyway, since their hots can't out heal Infest. As of right now there is no guild in the world who's first heroic 25 kill included a tree. I know that's not exactly the same thing in terms of difficulty and scaling, but it still speaks to their value in that encounter seeing as how the types of raid damage are the same in both normal and heroic.Quote:

Our main issues were waiting like an hour for healers, people disconnecting, and bullshit afks between attempts. The attempts we gave it were progressively better and by the end we got to those fucking ghosts he summons but hadn't really seen it before. Held it together for a bit and then some assholes stood in the void zone and made it huge.
Reminded me of why I stopped playing.

The gods are telling me I cannot play Warcraft. All I have to do is stop at the local TigerDirect brick and mortar (handy!) and get a new one, then it'll be like 15 minutes' worth of work to clean off the chip, put on some coolant and attach the new fan... for a guy that's not lazy.

Try a Zalman cooler next time, if they have them. I bought one for my old P4 machine way back in Vanilla and it made a huuuuuuge difference.
I don't overclock or anything, so I can use a stock fan if need be and be perfectly fine. Dunno what the hell happened to this one, I just restarted for updates and it was like lol CPU fan error and it wasn't spinning. I got it going again but it spins off magnets (how do they work?) and it looks like some plastic clip broke at the base of the fan blades because it's always slightly misaligned and clips this little plastic tab every few spins.
I'll look for Zalman but again, I can run a stock fan for like $5 or I can get a CoolBallsMastar for like $50; I'm going with the $5 for now.

OK, so went back to Fry's and bought a cheaper fan that plugged right in, reassembled the whole fucking thing and booted it up.
Everything seems to be fine except my mb's built in network adapter keeps telling me there is no network cable plugged in. Checked the BIOS, disabled/enabled, updated drivers, tried everything and nothing works.
