Instant classic imo
I went in with such high expectations that they became lower expectations because I figured there was no way it could live up to all the hype.
It did, 10fold.

See, I don't trust general rating by consensus, because I know the average person is a fucking idiot. But when a movie comes out of tnl with no negative reviews, then maybe, just maybe, I'll download it.
It was funny. I enjoyed it. Not so legendary, but it was worth my time.
I agree with you Razor.
Nah.
I think this all depends on how much of this kind of shit you saw/lived in high school. I've been at parties like the kids' party and the adult's party, I've wrassled with fake id's and supernerds trying to be cool. The best part of the movie was the police officer arc.
I ASSUME YOU ALL HAVE GUNS AND CRACK
This movie was good. I agree that the police officer arc was the best.
Prepare to be fucked by the long dick of the law.
I don't think this movie is as drop dead perfect as a lot of people claim. It could easily have been tightened up by 15 or 20 minutes and made a better movie. That said, despite not being as good as it could be, it's still pretty classic and is easily this generation's Fast Times, even though it's more over the top in its comedy set pieces. I thought it was really good.
Superbad is way less controversial than Fast Times--no nudity and the content was more discussion than anything physical. I enjoyed this film a lot and the ending is kind of a classic 80s film move the mall and things are left open for a sequel.
i don't see how there can be a sequel when Fagle and Evan are going to Dartmouth and Seth's stuck where he is trying to be some girl's drunken mistake. i mean, come on. i'm sorry for cursing, but come on. what the fuck? come on, come on.

I caught this last night and it was great. I was laughing pretty much the entire movie. I agree about the police arc.
