Tell that to the American Pie sequels (those films don't even compare to Superbad). they could definitely follow these guys to college or summerbreak, etc. I know Apatow, Rogen and crew won't milk the franchise, they're better than that, but this duo/trio could definitely branch out and into other films.Quote:

There is no room for a sequel. The ending was them parting ways as best friends for good. That was the whole point of the scene. It was a great movie, and the police were hands down the greatest thing in the movie.

I would watch a sequel with the cops and not the other people.
The cops being lightly sprinkled throughout was perfect, too much and they would have lost their effect. Most of what made them great was their chemistry with McLovin' anyway.
Who else pictures Fogell actually legally changing his name to McLovin and joining the force in a few years?

I saw this last night. It was pretty good. Not as good as the praise it's getting but maybe I'm too old.
The cops and McLovin' were the best.
