Superbad

Finally saw this last night. It was pretty funny, although it started getting a tad drawn out near the end. If it was maybe 1 1/2 hours, it would have been a mastepiece.

And yeah, the cops and McLovin' were the ultimate combo.

Some hot-ass girls in this movie, too.

I just saw it monday. It was great. Monday matinee $5 and only me and my 2 friends in the theater. If I had a pipe in there I would have been able to smoke it.

Fantastic movie. I'd see it again in the theater.

Grandma's Boy > Superbad . . . however, the movie fucking rocked.

Grandma's Boy sucked something fierce. Did you steal Hub's pipe?

It would still be quite easy to make a sequel to this.

In the sequel, the writers can just have Fagel and Evan over at Dartmouth...Seth begins to have a little "mid life" crisis without his best friend and he decides to take a road trip to Dartmouth to hang out with his best friend.

When Seth gets there, he finds out that both Fagle and Evan have matured and are no longer virgins....while he is STILL trying to be some girls drunken mistake. Meanwhile, Seth must come to terms with the fact that Evan has moved on in his life, made new best friends, and his high school friends mean nothing to him. So, the sequel can be about Seth coming to terms with the fact that people grow the fuck up and don't stay friends with people from high school forever.....even though this sequel would essentially be rehashing the themes that were implied in the denoument of the first film, I stil think that a sequel like this COULD WORK.

They already did this in an episode of undeclared. Great episode too, Haverchuck played Steven's old HS friend. Haverchuck was at the adult party in Superbad as well.

From what I've seen, Undeclared was a great show. I've only seen about two episodes of Undeclared though, so I didn't realize that they already covered that subject. Still though, I think Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks both suffered from not enough viewers...so maybe they can get away with rehashing a storyline like that into a feature film :)

Undeclared was an excellent show, but not quite on the level of Freaks and Geeks.

The way Fox treated it was complete bullshit, they tried to kill it from the start, kind of like Firefly.
