Lots of addicts will buy those drugs so they don't go into withdrawal if their heroin dealer isn't around for a day or whatever too.
I just finished the last part of "Keys to the Kingdom" of "Locke & Key". SO HAPPY THERE'S MORE.
I'm probably about to get banned for one of the least hostile things ever. See ya all later.
you ever notice that when people get mod powers, they post less?
consolation prize: if you ever moved to NYC i could introduce you to a sick sick wedding photog who is always looking for assistants
was when ramon showed up to the church for the rehearsal with a bag of coors lights and generously offered some to the groom and the priest
(glad you had a good time and thank you)

Who is that ugly jew behind her in that picture?
Frog.
burg's no Jew.
There are no Jews in the Shire.
Congrats Burg.
Things are good. Severely in love, fucking terrified and amazed of it. Just signed paperwork to keep my well-paying job going for the foreseeable future today. Going to Scotland in April for two weeks, got a ticket to Burning Man in August.
2012's alright!
I just won a Vita and all I had to do was eat some Taco Bell. On a related note, my back hurts.
Continuing my streak as one of the luckiest men on the planet I went to buy boxed wine for my girlfriends birthday (we were going to drink it during class) I ended up winning 48 cans of beer at our local wine seller (LCBO) due to a beer can promotion they're running.
ohgodboxwine
I'm in the library right now, and I'm in a pretty good mood. Despite dancing 2-3 times per week, salsa continues to be a reliable source of joy. I drank a double rum and Coke and called it my study buddy.
Baja Blast will ease the suffering.
Congrats, Uriel!
Just got a hot lather shave at the barber. Anyone who has not had a proper shave is doing himself a serious disservice.
shit head neighbour with his forever yapping dogs and kids who just burst out onto the road when i`m backing out just posted a for sale sign. Excellent.
Today is my baby's due date. No labor signs, but I consulted the Magic 8 Ball and it said, "Outlook is good."
It's officially Monday now, and no baby. The 8 ball lied!
It was probably made in China. It go by china time.
I am not going to die from the awful fucking side effects of this medication as I was originally told. That's pretty sweet, I think.
Pomelo.
Check this: Go for a nice medium length run. As soon as you get home, grab a spoon, dip in peanut butter, and then dip said peanut butter spoon in 60% cacao Ghiradelli chocolate chips. Getcha calories from fat on brah
I don't understand the appeal. It's like a grapefruit wrapped in three inches of nerf foam.
The flavor is milder/sweeter/less bitter and the aureoles can easily be separated.
I can pull apart all the aureoles and arrange them on a plate. That's big for me.
Walked a little under seven miles today. That's a new post-trauma record.
The goal is ten miles.
Great Josh! Can't wait to get the ramones project back in full swing.
In other music news I'll be at The Darkness show in dc tomorrow night. PUMPED.
The new single is fucking great.
Link? I'm stoked they're back together, really. Their albums aren't great but some songs get me hard.
There albums aren't great? NO LINK AND GFY.
The first song of their debut album was blatantly stolen from AC/DC. come on!
Also we're having some 80's dance party at the Brewery on Saturday night so I'm making my own t-shirt ("uniform") for the occasion.
That band is the definition of "okay, we get it".
I wonder if Wolfmother also upsets Razor.
Let me know if it is. I would like to sell my shrink wrapped ones too.
Tapatalk's total ignore feature is very nice. TNL was only $3 away from being really fun this whole time!
You know which whole time.
I'd rather pay for a TNL app... But tapatalk appears to be The Truth.
Fool's gold.
Week three with no sodas or energy drinks, and week 28 of no smoking.
Feels good, man.
I haven't been addicted to soda since college. Man, you start to drop weight fast once that leaves your system. I hate when my friend puts a coke in my whiskey at his bar, though. It's too damn sweet.
I still drink sugar-free energy drinks, though. Sometimes I need it and I don't drink coffee.
I don't like sugar-free energy drinks. They all taste like flowery soap imo
Water, coffee, alcohol. Why drink anything else?
Because that is boring.
Coffee is dreadful. Water and juice all day long.
Juice is terrible for you. All the sugar and shit from the fruit without the fiber and other nutrients.
I drink mostly water, with a glass or two of iced tea in the morning and evening. It's been working for me. I'm with Kedawa, coffee is dreadful. How can something that smells so good be so awful?
Brew time has a lot to do with tea being good or dirtwater. Water temperature sometimes, too. You can burn a green tea.
Worried about your runway figure? Juice isn't great for you due to the condensing of the sugar, but having a glass of juice every now and again isn't going to throw your health to the dogs unless you're doing a lot of other really dumb shit, first.
That being said I personally drink coffee, tea, water and booze the most. I might have an iced tea once in awhile with a meal if I feel like something sweet. Can't stand pop/soda for the most part.
You know I gots mad love for you homie Josh.
I got a refurbished one. It rules pretty hard.
How much was it?
I sometimes resort to caffeine to get me going but it usually causes a stomach ache. I've mostly gone to a completely water liquid diet. I drink water at home and usually drink club soda at work. From time to time, I'll get a soda (maybe 1-2 a month) or drink a vitamin water but I've been pretty good at sticking to straight water. Outside of that, I drink a lot of beer. I've been giving serious thought to giving that up lately. With the kid on the way, I never want to get him/her started on soda or high sugar drinks to begin with along with other stuff like candy and other sweets. If I'm going to make my child adhere to a healthy diet consistently, I'm going to have to follow the same guidelines myself. I'm looking forward to it honestly. I just have to give up alcohol and tobacco and I'll be on a pretty straight path when it comes to a healthy lifestyle.
You don't have to give up alcohol entirely. A drink or two might even be healthy.
The one sugary drink I will indulge in is cranberry juice and ginger ale.
We have fountain drinks at work, and it goes great with meals.
I won a Vita for those that don't know
You should see if you can fit it up your ass.
I actually went to Taco Bell today to try and game the system - since people figured out how to do just that. But they changed the predictable timers a couple days ago
Not sure if this should go here or in the "what's bugging you" thread.
We went to the doctors office to get checked out, and the baby is fine but the amniotic fluid is dangerously low. So... we're about to head to the hospital and will probably induce labor tomorrow. The wife really, really didn't want to be induced and she's freaking out a little. Well, a lot.
Keep us posted. You'll just get your little bundle of joy that much sooner.
not even born yet and stubborn as hell. good luck buddy.
I won't really have much to do in the next 12 hours or so other than browse TNL. They are going to give her something to thin her cervix tonight, then giving her petosin (I have no idea how that's spelled) tomorrow.
It occurs to me that I'm not freaking out at all like I thought I would. I'm having a baby....like a boss.
I have something to thin her cervix.
Here's something for you to read Gohan
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...p_mostpop_read
Apparently the French are good at something! Seriously though, I've run this article by a couple parents who say they can see the Wisdom and wish they had started, and were strong enough to parent like this. Maybe an interesting read for you.
That was a good article, Thief. It reflects some of my own feelings on parenting.
Good luck man!
Yeah, being a spineless doormat hasn't worked out so well for north american parents.
I've heard that ww2 and Vietnam fucked American parenting. That and the level of uppers and downers prescribed to middle class mothers in the 60s and 70s.
somewhere in the mess of daddies going away and never coming back, coming back from ww2 and pumping out too many kids, coming back from Vietnam and being too strict or abusive, and mom's being high as shit, people forgot how to raise kids.
You can also argue that the hippie generation over compensated for their strict parents and were too relaxed and accommodating to their kids as a result.
The short answer is that American parents forgot how to parent amongst all the social upheaval of the past 100 years. They had other shit that demanded their attention or pushed them to treat their children in ways that were not appropriate. Either consciously or unconsciously.
I don't buy most of those reasons, but the last paragraph is certainly accurate. People are too busy, and raising the kids isn't the top of peoples' priority lists.
I really wish we could survive on one income so one of us could stay at home with the baby, at least until it's time to go to school. I really wouldn't mind being a stay at home dad.
That's absolutely part of it, and talking with one of my coworkers who spent about 6 months trying to find a nanny, one he eventually had to fire because she was dumb; our "childhood education" is garbage as well. Apparently nannies will ask whether or not they want the word no used, but that the nannies instead want to do redirection or whatever, it's horseshit. Even then he admits to absolutely caving to his child's demands, and that his wife is even worse about it.
I guess he got lucky and has an awesome doctor for his kid too? When his wife was worried about the myths of vaccination he responded with a rant about how he's seen polio and how awful it is, and that a parent not wanting to vaccinate their child because of a myth is quite the risk to be willing to take.
I'd like to hear your reasons.
I don't think being busy is the cause. Some of the most worthless people were children of dad's that made 100k a year and had wives that staid home with the kids. And lets not forget about soccer mom's that give their kid's tons of time. The problem of "over-parenting" is given that name for a reason.
Are you kidding me?
please stop quoting him. Just post it like this...
