I'm trying this thing where I don't have panic attacks about all the shit pressing down on me that doesn't matter one bit in reality and just let it roll off. Who knew it was so easy?! Smart people. I am probably not one of those. It doesn't hurt that it's also not ten million degrees out and I am playing Blazblue with my old roommate! Also drinking beer in the early afternoon! Today is a fine day.
Daily contacts are expensive as fuck but they're the best ever. Always comfortable, no anxiety over ripping or losing one early in its "life cycle", whenever I don't feel like wearing them I don't have to open any that day.Quote:

I'm moving tomorrow and I feel pretty good about it. My current living situation has been kind of shitty. I've been sharing an apartment with a bizarre middle aged creepster who likes to sit in the darkness and stare. It's a small room, the living room is just some chairs, and it's basically murdered what social life I have. I love the location which is the only reason I moved here but it's time to go.
New place is badass. It's a huge room in a three story victorian home occupied by artists and musicians, mostly my age give or take, and it seems like a much better scene for me. I like the roommates I've met (haven't met a couple of them because they were on tour). The location's not as good, but I still feel pretty good about it.

I successfully repaired my headphones; the connection inside the wire got messed up after a few years of hard use. I soldered in a patch cable on each side, and they sound great as ever. $2 in parts trumps $80 for replacement anyday.
After posting my car on cl, an hour later I got a call about it, he's coming today to look at the car and sounded quite interested. Weeeeee!
Went to a temp agency and it seems there's a good chance I can get work from there for at least a while who knows what could happen! but hey money is money!

I'm surpisingly not a total zombie today, despite all the drinking last night. I haven't even had any coffee today and I'm cruising through. I have the next two days off, too.
