I went to a bar with my girlfriend last night that just happened to serve authentic Ethiopian cuisine. It seriously was just a shitty oval bar and they just brought you a giant plate of spongy bread and meats and greens and lentils and you ate it right there.
It was pretty much awesome. Very inconspicuous.

I went to SevenStock today. It's the biggest Rotary car meet in the world. Mazda held it at their NA headquarters. It was cool to see all the cars. People brought their personal cars, Mazda had their classic race cars, there were 2 formula D drift cars. I got a tshirt.

Went to the dentist for a cleaning, turns out I had a cavity so I had it drilled. This might seem like the wrong thread for that, but it was my first cavity ever and the experience was kind of novel for me. They gave me before, during and after photos of the tooth and the nitrous was a pretty good time!

Surprisingly had pizza every day down there, sometimes more than once. It's good, but not as good as some of the stuff I've had here. I won't be moving there for pizza.

Put down a deposit on a custom made banjo by a luthier in NC. Went and visited his shop and talked about what I'm looking for. I chose some woods and the piece of cherry he'll make the neck out of. Unfortunately I won't take delivery of it until late December or early January since he has 2 in front of mine.

It'll be a tackhead banjo with an internal tensioning system. The pot'll be made out of alternating pieces of purpleheart and another undecided wood for a somewhat checkered effect. I'm researching different woods to use on the peghead and for acccents. Got a couple of free tickets to the Reds/Cards game today in the Natti. These were the best seats I've ever had at an MLB game (5 rows back behind the 3rd base dugout). I really wish I had brought my camera but I had no idea we were getting seats this close until we got there. I attached a pic I snapped with my phone.

Unfortunately Cincinnati got rocked 13-0. :cry:
