Explain.
Because good or bad, at the end of the night, there's always a story.
I got a promotion at work today. I'm now bottom rung manager (assistant produce) ... I'll try not to let the power get to me. It is a bit bittersweet, since it solidifies that my immediate future will not be as lucrative as I would have ever imagined just a year or two ago. However, I am much happier and at much more peace of mind than I have been in recent memory. It doesn't hurt that I only work 40 hours a week and my commute is only three miles, either.
Having a great time out in Breckenridge. Went snowboarding for the first time in 4 years and it was a blast. Went out and took some photos of boarders and skiers (should have shot at a higher ISO, but I still got some good ones), and went on an awesome winter hike through this valley surrounded 14ers (not 14 yr old girls) and other mountains, and talked to this woman who gave me some great advice about moving here and getting jobs. This weekend I will be heading out to Utah to check out some national parks.
The plan right now is to get a job back in Nashville and save up enough money to get a place here in Breck during the summer and hopefully get a job here. Probably just get a full time job at Best Buy or something, unless I can find a better job. Also pick up a flash and try my hand at event photography and stuff. Feeling pretty good right now, like my plan, and have an amazing week and half to two weeks just traveling.
I fucking hate dry itchy skin. Happens all the time in the winter, too. Turning up the thermostat to quell the winter cold makes the air super dry (and it's dry cold air as-is). I read about solving dry skin online and people generally seemed to recommend a good humidifier to place moisture back in to the air. Hand moisturizers don't seem to do much good to extremely dry skin as they all only really effect the top layer. You need the air moisture to solve the issue.
So I did some research and bought a good dual warm/cold humidifier and put it in my bedroom this past Sunday (don't much care about being itchy in the rest of my place, it only bothers me when i'm trying to sleep and it keeps me up) and almost instantly it made a difference. The past two nights have been the best winter sleeps I've had in 3 years.
Point be told buy a humidifier if you are itchy. It will help.
Confirmed.
I'm still waiting for that galaxyrise.
I just watched another episode of Cosmos tonight. How appropriate.
I've been working out again :)
Rockin the ice cream shop tonight!
Last day of work then a nice weekend. Feels good to be making $$$ again.

Real friends don't cockblock. It's in the handbook somewhere.
Not a real bro.

My abstract got accepted to the National Conferences for Undergraduate Research. If the University gives me some travel grant money, I'll get a trip to Montana in April to present my poster.
I think I've fallen in love.
I just played Pro Gear for the first time.
Congrats my friend. It's one of the best sidewaysers ever made :tu:
Indeed, Pro Gear is awesome. The emu on PSP wasn't too hot and I hate frameskip. Better on the wiz?
My friend Kostan got married today and I got to see a ton of people I was friends with growing up.
I'm gonna go watch WWE Monday Night Raw live tonight and I got some pretty decent seats :)
KOF: never played the OG obviously, but I can't imagine it being any smoother than it is on the Wiz.
I was thinking of getting a business card made up to model Paul Allen's. Good idea/bad idea?
That's the fag with the home made capris right?
Rafi the horny terrorist.
I wanted to say, now that everything is finalized, paperwork is in.
Thanks everyone who helped me with my resume, including people who sent me theirs, looked over mine, and sent me interesting reads and videos on its writing.
Tomorrow I start my two internships. Ill be head of video marketing at ArtisansLabel, and will be working post production on the TMZ TV show.
Thanks everyone!
What will you be doing in post production, might I ask?
From what i gather, theyll be teaching me any and all aspects of the shows editing, voice overs, and preparation for same day broadcast.
Congrats B-Ri
Do you want to be mah friend B-Ri??
Never be too proud to make someone else's coffee. It may lead to something better down the line.
Like buying their coke and bringing them women.
Yeah but that got me a promotion.
Colombian women aren't half bad either!
When I was a kid I loved Power Rangers, but all of my friends thought it was for faggots, so I hid it away like a dark secret.
I liked it later when I started getting into Toho type stuff!
The Saved By The Bell sequences are still total garbage, for the most part!
Alright folks! Nothing to see here, move along, move along...
.
Hotlinker!
Just got back from the Epica show at Jaxx - it was my first concert and I went with a couple of friends. One of whom, Craig was a HUGE fan of seemingly every band that played, while Ryan, like myself, couldn't have cared less about most of them except for Epica. Despite having to stand for the better part of six hours inside, and for over an hour outside in the cold when they opened the doors, and being incredibly sore by about the 4 1/2 hour mark, I had a blast.
My $25 ticket got me a night out, six hours of entertainment, the ability to wait 30 minutes for fries, and exposed me to some new music, including Todesboden, whose entire setlist impressed me. Merchi-wise, I wound up buying a T-Shirt/CD combo for $30, and buying an Epica shirt for $20, then Craig asked me for money for an Epica shirt, so I bought him one and after all the merch and the fries, I still managed to stay within my $100 budget for the event itself. Epica also played both the Star Wars theme and the Darth Vader theme, which ruled.
Hey Cow, I sent this thread to Kevin (Karmathestrange) and he can't wait to meet you.
Gently.
Post work Dogfish Midas Touch = ultimate victory.
Also: Ryan canceled band practice tonight because he is totally fucked with work... so I'm gonna sit on my ass and play video games tonight. I am more excited about doing NOTHING tonight than I can possibly explain.
Smoke weed nigga
I don't care for it at the moment!
I haven't been visiting Gainesville's most upscale coffee place much in the last six months because, well, it's expensive. I decided to go tonight, and I got a hot chocolate that looked like this:

Damn it was good.
That cup looks pretty big. Assuming that croissandwich is to scale.
Scale to what?
That is correct.
Metric, even.
That is not correct.
I see no butter. It's metric.
A man can dream.
An awesome weekend approaches.
Having coffee with the Online Editor of Outside Magazine tomorrow.
I know him.
I do though. He's an asshole.
So is Cap.
1) Fuck you KoF
2) Lies Diff. He was a really nice guy. He also gave me 4-5 of the latest issues of Outside Magazine.
3) Found $32 walking to the Outside Magazine Offices. Just laying in the street waiting to be picked up.
Uh....I really do. I worked for the magazine as a freelancer, you stupid faggot.
Invited to do another gallery show in LA. This time I get to sell prints! Excitement!
lol @ Cap completely uninformed trying to shoot everyone down so his connection seems more special.
No he's right. I was lying.
