I haven't had a PB&J in a long time. Now I want one.

Elvis's favorite sandwich was pb and bananas, fried, only sometimes with bacon. What can I say? I'm a fan.
I tried the pb and bananas sandwich, but it didn't work right. I think I sliced the bananas way too thick, because they weren't completely warm, and they slide out of the sandwich. Any tips?
Thanks fellas. I think I'll try that some day soon. The adding honey sounds absolutely key.
PB and honey I've never had but it seems like a pretty no brainer combination that I now want.
As for PB&J. I'm not really concrete on any particular brand of PB, but I do prefer crunchy. As for the jelly, I was all about grape when I was a kid, but now I like strawberry way more. And bread choice is probably the most important. I find that your standard wonderbread isn't sturdy enough for a sandwich as gooey as PB&J, I prefer a bit thicker more... well.. bready white or usually wheat.
Most of the time I just have peanut butter and banana though.
Fluffer nutters can shoot themselves.
Oh, and I actually made an Elvis style fried peanut butter and banana sandwich and it felt like an elephant shit in my stomach. It was delicious, but I didn't eat again fro the rest of the day, it crushed my stomach something foul, it sat there like a bowling ball.
How the fuck have you people not had PB and honey?
You are odd ppl.
Also if you want to make a PB and honey sandwich even better, add some potato chips to it. I recommend either ruffles or lays and only plain. Put a layer on top between the bread and shit is amazing.
that just seems redundant to me.
:tu:FTW
plain chips will make just about any sandwich better.
still my all time fav way to eat a pb&j is 'grilled' (as in grilled cheese.) I make the sandwhich with whatever kinda pb and jelly I'm feeling like at the moment, butter one side of the of the sandwich (gotta be white bread for me) with an easy spread butter, put that in a skillet on the stove on high for a minute or two while you butter the other side. When it's nice and browned you flip and repeat, and you end up with a gooey, melty, absolutely deliscious grilled pb&j. and milk it key. I'd say I've prorobly eaten close to 6,000 of these in my lifetime, there was seriously about 2 yrs of my young childhood where I at 2 or 3 a day, every day.
Well god dammit, I forgot to pick up the PB on my way back. Fuck.
