We finished it earlier this afternoon, actually.
But I'll go through the last few missions again considering I cleared out the bounty boards and there's no special missions that open up post-endgame. I still have 13 or so more levels to gain 'til 50, too. Shit's gonna take forever. :(

I bet new game+ gives you more exp.
It's not gonna take that long as the playthrough 2 option is where the meat of the game is gonna be. Enemies are much tougher, tons of new items, etc. I wonder if there is even more playthroughs after 2. Anyways, this game has much more to offer after beating it, regardless of just playing through the main story again.Quote:

Finished it. How do I start a NewGame+? I didnt see any option for it at the title screen. Just lets me start a new game with a new character.
Turned the game on to go back to my playthrough. I see I can pick either playthrough now. Nevermind.
They should have just called this "Run Around and Kill Mutant Dogs"
Did all available missions I could find. Stupid achievement for completed Rust Commons wont unlock. I have no idea who to talk to for more quests.

Total types:
Skag (spitter, charger, lasher, crappy)
Bandit (shotgunner, psycho, regular dude w/weapon, regular dude w/shield and weapon, bruiser high health no shield power weapon, badass elite dude high shield health and weapon)
Spiderant, which is basically the same as skag with a larger crit spot and different attack patterns, turn out to be even easier to kill than skags, but they throw a lot at you.
Rakks - ANNOYING. Elder Scrolls 3 birds anyone?
Crimson Lance Dudes - Most fun fights in the game imo. These enemies finally required some tactics and weapon choices. Some are soldier based with deployed shields, some are heavily armored and shielded that are weak to corrosive, others are low armor and weak to fire, none seem to be weak to explosives. They use high quality weapons and grenades wisely, and also have elite (badass) versions that will fuck your day up.
Turrets - guns with people in them.
Bugs/Desert Crawlers - Whatever. These guys couldn't kill you if every single one in the game tried to attack you at once. Mostly roadkill, otherwise good weapon prof grinds.
Elemental dudes - I really expected there to be a lot more of these since static weapons are a whole class. Static weapons on playthrough 1, apart from grenades, are only worthwhile against Elementals and Sledge, who has a large shield, because the shock damage is so poor v. flesh and swapping weapons takes forever. Anyway, these dudes are 99% shield. 3 types: one flies around and slashes at you, one stays far away and bombs you with shock damage, and the other is a huge fucker that throws big explodey shock damage at you.
Crabs: They're in one cave, pretty fun to fight at level. Tiny weak point in front but getting in close is bad because they dish massive melee damage, have the ability to burrow and spit at you. The fun is trying to hit the eye, which gives instant and massive crits.
That's....it? I guess it's not bad. You shoot a lot of fucking skags though. Skags, dudes, spiderants, and rakks really, mostly.
There are a few bosses but that's pretty much all you see in the game.
Also there are only 2 playthroughs. Kind of. After beating playthrough 2 every enemy in the game is scaled to 49-51.
Also important: After 30 minutes of searching the GameFaq's boards I came up with an answer on mods:
Yes, mods can propel your class skills beyond 5.
You have to have at least 1 point in a skill to get the mod bonus.
