I don't know why you guys tolerate spiders (or any bugs) in your house. I would kill every single bug/spider/whatever I see. Plus, my wife is deathly afraid of spiders.

If I find a spider building a web in some out of the way corner, I'll just let it be until I see an egg sack, and then I'll vacuum it up with everything else.
I've stopped killing centipedes altogether, now that I know how helpful and harmless the kind I have in my area are.
I only mind spiders when they build their webs in front of my doorway and I walk right into them in the morning. Fuckers.
