Seriously. We have whole towns of dirt roads down here. Even if we modified it for southerner choices in cars (RWD class lead by Mustangs, lifted trucks, etc.), it would still be amazing.

Rallycar drivers are the best in the world. Rallycar fans are among the most stupid in the world.
And? Best sport for the south. BEST

The Toyota 86 is becoming just about everything that I could conceivably want in a car: Minimal doo-daddery, moderately powerful, lightweight, two-doors, RWD, and row-your-own. Hopefully, it will be priced in the mid-$20's. I want to buy one new and keep it for a decade.
Seems a bit RX-8 minus the rotary. Which for a lot of people is a good thing. Now to see if it drives as well as the Mazda.
Don't forget all the gay!
Even with all the free gay, the Miata doesn't interest me at all. I just really dislike convertibles. Two door coupes are ideal, because I love the cockpit feeling. I'm not a fan of four-door cars, either.
Miatas are awesome Autocross/track cars. I'm curious to know how this Toyota handles. I don't care how pretty a car looks, if doesn't handle right, it's worthless.
Miata is such a damn good car for the money. If I was buying a car for myself, I'd get one again, no question. I want mine back :(
