there was a huge weed bust in my town a few months ago, and not the first time re happened in that same area. Still no short supply it seems cause I keep seeing people I this community college I am taking my art class at, hotboxing in the school parking lot.

So what is a US Coast Gaurd "border patrol" doing off the coast of Guatemala anyway? Sounds like this bust was none of our business.

Drug busts never cause there to be a shortage of drugs. They happen all the time, and if you can't get the drugs from one place you will get them from another. The only way a drug bust of this magnitude would effect any of us (i.e. only if you buy coke) is if this was the only cocaine coming into the country, and in a few months after this happened, since it takes a long while for something like this to filter down to the nickel and dimers.

The US has made deals with a lot of these governments that we overthrew in the past, giving them lots of monies in exchange for essentially free access to go after drug cartels.
