Hey all, turns out PAX (penny arcade expo) is this weekend and 4 blocks from my apartment, so I headed on down. Anyone else there? If so, come play MvC2, we need more comp :) I'm the guy pretty much always playing Amingo (yes, Amingo). Pretty sad that my entire reason for coming to this thing is to play a 7 year old fighter, but hey, this seven year old game's 10 times better than all the new crap on the main floor :p

They closed the main floor around 8 and so the only thing left that interested me was DDR SuperNova machines out in the hallways. So I played DDR for 4 hours straight. I'm going to be so soar tomorrow. The machines were brand spanking new, they were awesome to play on. But Supernova is a disappointment; come on Konami, look at what ITG and PIU are doing and please emulate!
I walked around a lot. In the table top gaming room this group was playing a very geeky board game I'd never heard of. But it was seriously geeky looking, and yet there were two very gorgeous girls playing it. Totally into it. Never thought I'd see that.

Probably my favorite part overall was they had big 2'x4' print outs of "the best of" Penny Arcade comics all over the place. Professor Snugglesworth! :)
