Wish they did a game around it. Nice details and love the fire trail effect.
So, this game is kind of bad.
I've been playing it and I want to get into it since it's so pretty and the island is so fucking open, but christ, the combat really suffers from how unstable you are while holding a gun. Big ass super suit and the guy shakes like a bitch when he zooms in using any scope? Also, the weapon balance is kind of crappy, I guess they upped weapon damage in 1.21 and it worked for both sides, so now kill enemies easier, but they can kill you easier as well, so if you're surrounded by 4 guys you're pretty fucked. Now, that wouldn't be a problem, but the game likes to randomly spawn people around you for no reason; I cleared a building with no one entrance and on the way out six guys spawned on the second floor and followed me down, which is pretty lame.
Anyone else notice this bullshit?
Do you use strength when shooting?Quote:

I never noticed any enemy spawning, but I never really mind that stuff, either.
Get a better computer. Crysis has occasional issues with enemies popping in really late but they don't just randomly spawn. Reinforcements do appear, but they'll either run to the area or show up on a vehicle. Are you sure you aren't just missing them? The binoculars in Crysis are not magical and enemies will not appear on your radar without you spotting them yourself.
As for aiming, you shouldn't have any issues at moderate range and strength will reduce drift at really long ranges.
I never noticed any strange enemy spawns that I didn't cause myself. I liked this game a lot.
GTX 470 overclocked beyond 480 specs
Intel Quad set at 1333 and 3.0Ghz
8 gigs of DDR2 8500 running at 4-4-4-12 latency
I have two power supplies: a 550 running ONLY my video card and case fans and a 650 running everything else. My computer is not the problem. Maybe I missed them that one time, but another time I kept dying on the tanks because I thought from a screen shot earlier that I could jump on them (which you can't) and sometimes when I loaded that save there would be a guy in the room across the hall from me and other times it would be empty.
Does strength steady your shot? If so that fixes my biggest complaint.
It does.
I instantly love this game much more.
Being able to actually snipe people is incredible. I cleared out a whole base before I stepped inside and it was exactly what I would expect from a good game. Nice looking out Tain.
