These recommended specs are in no way official -- they haven't been released yet. The specs shown are an estimate from the head of crysis-online. Regardless, I would assume 2ghz or more from a dual core cpu.
For ultra settings maybe. That's not a minimum by any means.
I'm waiting to get a DX10 card just for this game. I should be fine anyways (AMD FX60, 2GB RAM, and 7900GTX), but I'd like to see what DX10 has to offer. I will be waiting to see and hear actual comaparisons before I make my purchases though.
I'll download it just to see how it runs on my Macbook Pro for the hell of it, but I don't like playing FPS's on a laptop.
