Time for the 8800 GTS me thinks, since that's all that stands between me and recommended.
I meet and exceed the recommended specs. I don't think I'll get a pass for using DX10 effects and AA simultaneously though.
The demo skits and jumps a tiny bit, but I think it's the unoptomized code + netcode working in tandem to produce the shaky performance.
The netcode is definitely a factor. Log on to an empty server and you'll notice a bump up in performance. As I mentioned in the other thread, it seems to perform much better in Vista for some reason, too.Quote:

I may give this a try since I got a new comp at the moment and it exceeds the requirments. Between this and Hellgate london, looks like I'll be back into PC gaming for awhile and see how much I can push this computer.

Let me know if your turn speed is as ridiculously slow as it is for me. Even at max sensitivity.
