Halo 1 on Legendary is a riot. There are a few really tough spots that give you great satisfaction to get past, but Halo 2 on Legendary was just goddamn frustrating. Not even in the way that "you're just not good enough" but more in the way of having to go through 2 sniper halls and an arena of guys before you hit a checkpoint.
That was the main part I found frustrated. The inside area on Delta Halo where you had to fight the buggers, honor guards, hunters, and snipers. I found if you go on the outside towards the left you can make it through pretty painlessly. If you go on the right you will get cluster fucked by snipers.
Oddly, started a game of co-op in Halo 2 with a friend... and we rather quickly got bored of it. The layout is needlessly confusing, the weapons are sort of bleh, and the AI is nothing worth talking about, especially after FEAR and such. It's also visually bland. I forgot how much it was crap compared to Halo 1.
Layout needlessly confusing? I played Halo 2 (on normal) before I played Halo: CE (on Legendary) both for the first this year, and I don't see how anybody could ever say that about Halo 2 after playing The Library.
Halo 2 on Legendary is RIDICULOUSLY hard, I've been trying to get past the first level for months.
Although I'm not really up for going through H1 single-player, I'm totally up for some multi-player. Too bad no XBLA support.
I've never played any of the Halo games on anything but the normal difficulty.
I suck at shooters, btw. I ran through F.E.A.R. almost completely in slowmo.
