And I forgot to check until just now. It's about fucking time.

So, has anyone tried out this new Castlevania yet? Was it worth all of Yoshi's agony?
I like it, though it is pretty easy on the default difficulty. It's definitely worth $10.
Damn it! I want to play this but my kids are watching Phineas and Ferb.
They need to fall asleep NOW.
Wtf is going on in Yoshi's av? That needs changed.
What's this?
A sale on a virtual console game?!?
The end is truly near.
Confirmed. DL'd it yesterday. It plays like butta'. Kinda' looks and sounds like some mythical Genesis that never existed. Like a Genesis 64z or something. Definitely doesn't feel SNES or TG-16... Don't know why it gives me such a Genesis vibe since the Genny could never do anything like this.
The cool thing is that levels are open enough to keep the Metroidvania exploration feel while still being a straight-forward action platformer.
You can even chose to play with classic "no steer" jumps or not.
Oh, and the canned sound effects are priceless.
Maybe the 32X could have handled it. It looks like a first-gen Saturn or Playstation game to me but sounds older. Either way, M2 has a knack for making games that seem authentically like stuff from past eras.Quote:
