He would make promises he never delivered on. He thinks he's gods gift to translating games. Games would be delayed for fucking months while Vic took the time to find just the right fake leather for the fancy instruction booklet. He's acting like a child over Xseed bringing over the PSP Lunar. He seems to think he's a better designer than the people who designed the games he just fucking translates.
The PSone Lunar packages were amazing...the puppet was overboard though. Vic has the Telenet catalog too right? Here's hoping for Arcus remake.
If you played the Lunars on the Sega CD, like God intended, you wouldn't have given two shits about the PS1 packages. WD was useful during the 16-bit era for Sega CD and Turbo CD releases. They were negative value-add during the 32-bit era.
Alundra was fucking phenomenal. I didn't like the PS1 Lunars anywhere near as much as the Sega CD versions, but that's a problem for Game Arts. And from firsthand experience, I can pretty much guarantee no extras caused a second's worth of delay to a game's release, and if you didn't want to pay extra just wait the usual six months for a price drop.
I'm definitely liking the "announce today, out tomorrow" method of Blaster Master's release, though.

I never played all the way through Lunar SSSC like I did the Sega CD original but Lords of Lunar was a neat bonus for Warlords fans. WD wasn't all bad in the 32-bit era. Besides the mention of Alundra, having Elemental Gearbolt and Sega Ages Vol. 1 localized was awesome.
