He should bring over Rent a Hero Xbox while he's at it.
No need, anyone who wants can play the english Rent A Hero #1 already, with a bit of creative searching.
-edit- Why did nobody mention how wonderfully mad Tomena Sanner is? It's a one-button game where you race left to right, and hitting the button makes you deal with obstacles in a variety of entertaining ways. Hit early and you just dodge, hit as late as possible without being too late and you launch giant robots, straight-arm a row of goons, Matrix-dodge a cowgirl's bullets before slapping her out of the way, etc. Yeah, there's only nine levels and there's no randomization, but each level has secrets to discover and online scores to aim for, so there's some good replay there for $5.

You could strafe in the original BM. Unless you simply mean there wasn't a dedicated button for it. I'll d/l the game soon to see if the B button strafe is that bad. Just seems like an odd shoulder button right now. I use the B button to choose upgrades in Gradius RB so I don't see how it's a huge deal.
What you said - the original had a strafe but no dedicated button. That worked well. Still, getting used to the B button a bit. Guess my gripe is a bit personal - I have tendonitis in the left hand, so playing for a while gives me cramps - it's faster in a game like this, where holding B to do stuff is needed.
Ireland is trying to get Classic Controller support patched into the game.
If you have an account over at NeoGAF, you can vote in the poll here.Quote:
I'm still working to get Blaster Master Overdrive patched (free download if you already have it) to include Classic Controller support, but I need YOU to sign the poll here if you think the game needs it (duh, but humor me and let's make this happen).
If you'd like to talk about how you enjoyed the game *except* for the missing CC support, that might be useful as well.
Still no guarantees, but I *am* working on making this happen, and even if it doesn't work out, a good show of support for the controller will help with future releases. Sign and tell your friends who have Wiis and have or want Blaster Master Overdrive to sign, too!
Thanks!
What the hell is up with Classic controllers being oos everywhere? Are they discontinued for the Advance (whenever the hell that's shipping)?
