I fixed my shop channel and downloaded Rondo. I didn't realize that they didn't translate it, which seems silly since the psp version is in english. Oh well, its not like I don't already know what they are saying.
I've always wanted to know what was being said in the intro. Is that translated somewhere?
Edit: Never mind, I found it.
In the good old time, mankind still lived in peace.
nobody believed, that a menace was about to come.
On the dark side of peace and development, existed and always existed, the evil.
Mankind began to decline the development, and designated peace as degeneration.
We are gathered here, to call the evil forces with our cursed blood.
We want, that they rule the world.
Smiling, we await the downfall of the world.
After 100 years, the evil was revived. He can turn into a bat, a wolf and fog. He loves the night. He drinks the blood of young girls and lives eternally.
The castle lord of the devils castle, the lord of evil,
Count Dracula was revived.
Wow that is an awful, awful translation.
For all it's faults, the PSP version has a very nice CG version of the intro.
Why do the virgins gotta be hot? You know if they look like that they're not virgins.
Lol at the difference in translation. The one I got was off YouTube, and it is indeed horrible.
Nice CG intro!
Am I the only one that has issues with the frame rate on the virtual console games? Something is definitely off. Even with Rondo, if something is flashing on screen, like the flames that hit the ground after the dragon's flame breath, sometimes if it hits at the right time you can't see the flame at all because the frames that are skipped are the ones where the sprite is showing on screen. This kind of frame rate problem makes everything feel off to me.
I don't see anyone else complaining about this, is there some setting that I'm missing here or am I just a bit sensitive about this? It seems like it isn't as much of an issue on some regular turbo games & Sin & Punishment felt fine, but most SNES, Genny, & T Duo games I've picked up have issues.
I've never noticed anything that would be out of the ordinary from regular slowdown from the original releases.
Cave Story is supposed to be available this week.
