I've never tried purchasing any 360 content online, but I imagine that since your purchase is linked to your profile, it automatically detects and begins a download cue right away.
And it's not even for the entire WiiWare/VC catalog! This is stupid.
It's probably to have a storefront for parents to buy kids games (since they don't have a CC). The thing is, they can buy Wii Points cards anyway and then the child gets whatever they want. Amazon does this with XBLA games and it's pretty successful.

Well, the problem with the points cards is that you'll almost always end up with a balance, and the kid could use that balance to buy stuff on his own. I'm sure Nintendo will do something stupid like only put three games on their online store, but it's still a good idea.
I got Ogre Battle 64 back in the day to 'make up' for the fact that I never owned the original. Thanks to emulation and VC, it's something else to see the two side by side. Surprising that I actually like OB64 a bit more....was it just my nostalgia for the original that made me think it was always the 'superior' one, or am I just appreciating 64's story a bit more?
I mean, outside the obvious visual/audio upgrade, am I missing any other big sweeping changes between them?
