I'll take your word for it. The western games of that era that I have played do nothing for me. The 1980s and 1990s were 99% Japanese dominated.

It's odd that someone who's always lauding the PC over consoles would fail to recognize how great the C64 (and Amiga) was. I knew people back then who wouldn't touch a console because of how much they loved their C64s.

I had all the systems but had neither a C64 or Amiga. :(

All of the advantages PCs have today didn't exist in the 1980s, and the developers were, at best, second rate.

I do it all the time and play awesome games I missed out on. I am playing Paper Mario right now and really enjoying it. I never had a 64 and now I have a chance to play it.

I wish I would have skipped the N64. animegirl wins.

The C64 really did have a ton of great games.

But Yoshi never owned one so it has to suck. :wtf:

I'm sure the C64 had tons of Excite Truck quality games though.
