Door County, Wisconsin N42- Fun little island to drive around, rolling farmland, dense lakeside pine forests, and lots of shore line by Lake Michigan, not much for the tourist part, but whatever. However at the Northern tip of the island leading to the Washington Island Ferry is a bizzarre little road. Opting not to cut a straight line through the forest, the road designers zig-zagged a 3 mile stretch all over dozens of hills (more like mounds). Literally feels like you could bounce into a tree at any curve. The wife ended up sick once we got through it.
Dubuque County, Iowa C9K Highway 52- My home state is pretty flat and non-descript. The Northeast part of the state was cut through by glaciers and has some terrain to it though. C9K is the highest part of the state and has some great views and truly winding roads. One second you're enjoying a great view of the river and surrounding towns and farmland, the next second you're down by the flood plains heading back up. The road was also recently repaved and is in better condition than nearby 52.
Overseas highway, Key West Florida- Only had the chance to enjoy it once but definitely a drive everyone should take. Ripped right out of the start of Outrun, you can see forever including any worrisome storm clouds waaaaay off in the distance.

In Florida - The Bloody 520 from I-95 to Orlando. 2 lane road with a 70mph speed limit, drunk college kids, and loads of fog.

The Loop Parkway on Long Island. It's such a useless road but it's right by the shore so it's fun to just drive around on when you have a car full of friends with the sea breeze coming in through the window.
