I need to get by on $10 a week on food. No car to go to Costco anymore so I'm going to need very VERY basic shit. I can't drink milk so cereal is out of the question, too. Any suggestions?

Instant noodles.
Honestly.
Oatmeal for breakfast.
Ramen can get you by. Especially at any supermarket 10 for a dollar or at some places 5 for a dollar.
Bread is filling and if you're losing weight, might help keep some around. Ramen, or any other variety of cheap noodle or rice, and instant oatmeal is also a good choice. Bananas are also very cheap. $10 is pretty rough.
I'm going to be 150 lbs by the end of July, and that's going to be a fucking shame.
Buy whatever is cheap/in-season at the farmers market. Otherwise you're stuck with Ramen.
Ramen, peanut butter and $1 day old bred.
Be crafty. Buy in bulk whenever you can, and always go by unit price.
Get some eggs to crack in that Ramen. Ramen has like no nutritional value. Dry pasta and sauce can go a long way and can be had rather cheaply. Like Advocate said oatmeal is some good shit, I eat a bowl everyday for breakfast. Maybe buy some fruit in bulk? Beans (dried, they are cheaper) and rice could be good too. Tuna fish is pretty cheap.
Whole chickens are $5 or less. Roast it, remove all of the meat from the bones, and boil them in water for at long as you care to. Take them out, add a little bit of the chicken, some carrots, and rice. This will give you much more chicken and rice soup than the equivalent cost of canned, and be exponentially better.
don't forget the bay leaf.
also I posted a good chicken noodle soup recipe a while back. It cost about 6 bucks, but lasted me a whole week. A Can of dry oatmeal costs like 2 bucks, but will last a good month.
