Point: Your ethnic name might sound like some funny shit in English. Wanna live here? And not be barraged with insults? Sheesh, do something about it. Your choice, and live with it.
Ah, ok. I gotcha.

Also, sorry everyone, but living in this country, if you are not a native, is a privilage, not a right. Someone seems to have to mixed up the fact that immigrants got into this nation with the right to live their life, albeit richer, than they did at home, but as not being a part of our society, but rather, feeding off of or economic wealth. They need to understand that they live as an AMERICAN. Not a Mexican, or a Pakistanian, or an Ethiopian.
Personally, I have no problem with people embracing their ethnic origins, be it through the names they choose for their children, the clothes they wear, the foods they eat, or the language they speak - so long as they remember that they live in a country that's incredibly diverse, and that English is the language that unifies us all. You want to speak Spanish, German, Italian, etc.? Fine, but please understand that the vast majority of Americans aren't going to speak multiple languages. While it would be ideal if they did, the fact is that there is no pressing cultural or social need for them to do so.
