Seriously. Why not just name the kid "Monkee?"

So you mean to tell me, if you're an owner of a Top 100 company and you see one app named Chris Bauer and another LaQuisha Nivea Jones. You're not going to automatically have some pre-conceived notions about those two? I mean before you check their experience and educational backgrounds.
I've never cared for names like
Chad
Tyler
Ashton
Taylor
Kyler
Easton
Heatherly
Preston
Parke
Ryland
Skyler
This thread was kinda humorous until someone had to get all serious...
Truth.
I'm not following you. Who determines where the line is, and, imo, who crossed it? Once again, stop being so PC and join the real world along with the rest of us. BTW, ghetto black people name their kids stupid shit. So do redneck trailer trash. Get over it. It's people like yourself that let cultural and racial divides persist. I bet you love the whole hyphenated-american deal, with no one really being american but rather African-American, or Asian-American, or Latin-American. Go fuck yourself.
Also, bannings happen for obvious attempts at derailing threads, personal attacks, posting innapropriate material in non-VB threads, and being way off topic in a persistent manner (see derailing threads). Pushing the envelope on race/culture issues is not a bannable offense.
Melting Pot. If you come here, and your name is the object of ridicule, then change it. If you are so hardcore about your cultural upbringing, and feel the need to not change a thing about how you once lived in your native land, here in America, well then guess what...you came to the wrong place. I know plenty of Michael's and Victor's and Robert's that have native Asian names.
Not necessarily racist, but socioeconomically biased. People that are not poor and realize that one day their children have potential name their children in an appropriate manner.
Starquashanique sells me cigarettes, Shannon, Sarah, and Sharon are my co-workers.
