Good call. I think it actually comes from the fact you haven't played many games if GTA is your OMG FAVORITE LET ME TELL EVERYONE. 100X

I'm pretty interested in this after seeing some more about it. But since I am working on a budget this comes after Professor Layton & Apollo Justice. But it still says a lot that I'm just interested since I haven't been that interested in one of these games for years now.

Yeah, Nintendo should have called the series "Battalion Wars" or "Famicom Wars" from the get-go.

Yeah, referencing a Japanese system name with no recognition here totally makes more sense than continuing the naming convention of one that did.

I like the name advance wars. I never even thought about the obvious GBA connection, I just thought it was a pretty good name overall.

I never put that together, I always thought they called it advance wars because it sounded better.

EDIT: just watched the 1up show and I have to admit, my hype for the game just went up alot more, I love strategy games and the DS looks like its perfect for it. Definetly preordering it today.

Too bad this isn't a RTS.

ok well its turnbased, regardless the DS is kind of made for this type of game so it should be good.
