I thought last year's Cavs team is alittle bit better than this year's team.... Or am I mistaken? Lebron seems to have no help (other than Ikusagas knocking down jump shots).

I'd take this year's roster but that's not saying much. I can't believe Mike Brown still has a job in the NBA. But yeah, last year's team looked better because they had the easiest playoff bracket ever.
Also: I don't think anyone figured that Bron would be 4th worst in fg% in playoff history over the first two games in a playoff series.
The difference this year is that the Celtics' team defense is much better than Detroit's.
Lebron basically has 3/4 Celtics near him anytime he makes a move into the paint, and when Ben Wallace is in, Garnet gets to play free safety because Wallace isn't a threat to score at all.
I loled when Mike Brown called a pick and roll for Lebron with Ben Wallace.
You're pretty much asking for Lebron to get double-teamed when you bring a guy out top whose only positive on the offensive end is his rebounding.
Yeah. God, just imagine if the Cavs had D'Antoni instead of Brown. It's not like defense is their strong point anyway.
... yeah, that's not going to work two years in a row. The East isn't that bad.Quote:

Chris Paul was the fucking truth last night.
Unfortunately, the rest of teammates (David West excluded) didn't show up, and the team's defensive effort was a bit lacking.
Hornets are my favorite team left, for sure.

I know you all saw that layup and 1 Chris had, plus that insane ball fake for the easy layup. Man. But the Spurs finally realized that CP3 isn't going to be stopped, and that leaving Peja bloody ass open is a terrible fucking idea. Kudos for the adjustments (Bowen on Peja, Parker on CP, Manu starting). It's really really fun watching CP3 go off, but yeah I don't think NO's chances are too good if he averages 30+ the rest of the way.
Those two plays were indeed nasty.
Also, Spurs made a ton of threes last night, I don't think that will continue for the rest of the series. Plus NO could have still won the game if they didn't turn ice ice cold once it was 88-90.
It's like the defense people used to play on Pistol Pete. Let him score whatever he wants, but don't let him make plays for other people. The Spurs r mean dum dums. :(
I don't see Spurs winning this series. CPIII is just too good.
