I just meant it played far better on the Wii than it would using standard controls like the 360 or something. But yes, I agree, I wouldn't call it "revolutionary" either, though I do think it is more of the unique kind of game that Nintendo was originally implying we would be seeing a lot of, which we have not.
And Rem, I must have misunderstood you. I thought you were saying that art direction had nothing to do with how realistic a game looks. But yeah, of course having more horsepower is going to allow you to make a more realistic game, just how having more horsepower can help give more character to stylized games, as long as the art direction is there to back it up. I still think that a less powerful system with very strong art direction could still make a more realistic looking game than a more powerful system with really horrible art direction.
And A Robot Bit Me, even if you were kidding, I think there are a LOT of people out there who have really bought into Nintendo's "graphics don't matter anymore" bullshit, and that was really what I was addressing.
