3D displays are going to be the future of...just about everything. It's going to be awesome. Props to that guy for making a great video too.
Yeah, that video was insanely cool. If Nintendo releases one outstanding game that utilizes this technique, the Wii will be unstoppable.
Wii developers are too lazy to make this happen.
I leave it to Sony/Microsoft to adopt this next generation, imagine Time Crisis 5....
Why next generation? All it takes is an accessory. Hell, for all we know the PlayStation Eye already has this capability.
It seems awesome, but do you guys actually think either Sony or Nintendo would bother to release an accessory (let alone a substantial game) using this?
Considering how close we're getting to photo realistic graphics, something like this is going to be necessary to push the envelope further. Someone will figure that out in the next 3-5 years.
I figure it needs to be packaged with every system (like the wiimote) and not sold as an accessory that doesn't get much software support. Wii is too underpowered anyway, so I hope PS4/next 360 will have this as part of the setup.Quote:
