Stupid questions about America
I was wondering about a few things.
Health care seems like a hot topic over there, I'd like to know about the insurance issues. Let's say someone gets badly injured, maybe a gunshot, can hospitals refuse to treat you if you don't have insurance? Breast cancer is something that's common. Are you basicaly fucked if you don't have insurance and a low income? Incase a tnl'r had someone going through that I would like to know how much that costed.
Growing up with a lot of American shows I for a while thought that people kept their shoes on inside their homes but I've seen a lot of reality shit and so lately and a lot of people wear them inside still. Is that common or did I just get it all wrong?
Is broadband really uncommon over there? Seems like it, what's your up/download.. ugh rates? I got like 10meg up and 90 down (on paper, haven't measured it myself).
Do you consider people's faith in god to be a problem in your daily life? I have no idea on how serious some take their beliefs but I saw some research that showed that a huge amount of Americans believed in god so I'd just like to know if it's a problem in your eyes. Seems to affect politics.
