Seamus Blackley full of BS?

Wasn't Seamus' leaving MS to go make his own games because he couldn't sit there and just watch anymore? It sounded like BS to me when I was reading it but whatever. Now in the newest issue of Gamenow they say his reason for leaving MS was "personal reasons" and announce he signed on with some company to make contact between developers and publishers(I don't have the mag with me but it was something very similar to this). To me this is a statement that MS is not happy with the XBOX's perfomance the world over. I may be reading to much into this but this looks to me like Seamus was going to get the shaft or was ashamed of the Box's worldwide perfomance and left. Does anyone (ETHUGG?) have any good input on this topic? I'm not sure who this looks worse for.

He was on The Screen Savers yesterday (techtv show) and he said it was he just wanted to create games. Something about building a machine and being a game designer was like being in a candy shop w/ his mouth taped shape. I could understand why he would want to. Plus, I really want to see what he will come out w/.

I don't assume anything. The guy said he was leaving to create games. Now he's not doing that. That pretty much says he was full of shit. You can diagnose all you like, I never thought I would get the whole story here. You assume that I thought I could get the whole story here. I believe I asked for any good input. Who assumes to much now?

It did seem fishy. I took it he was leaving to create Xbox games.

In the July Game Informer it says Seamus, Kevin Bachus, and Half Life's J. Mark Hood announced their new company Capital Entertainment Group, who will fund and publish games for PS2, Gamecube, Xbox and PC.

From what I had read he wanted to get into creating games, not just finding a home for them. I do read Gamenow, I never said I paid for it. By the way, wasn't that you who quoted Gamenow about the XBOX version of MGS2 before you realized it was an April fools joke?
