When are the earth's fossil fuels going to be depleted or reach a level where the cost of finding and extracting them is more than alternative fuels? Because when that happens... Uranium = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

multinational oil companies and divest the second a democrat president gets in and any congressional hearings begin. World demand keeps going up, supplies keep getting divided out further between nations, the middle east is still unstable, and it'll be years before we confirm and exploit any of the new resources found on the article shelf now that the permafrost is melting.
Infact any company proving new resources would probably send that stock rocketing up. My worry though is the south american governments nationalizing the oil and booting out the oil cos.
Gold's been up pretty nice lately mainly as a defensive play against the continuously declining dollar/inflation. Goldcorp (GG) is a decent proxy for gold, or you can invest via ETFs like GLD and IAU. Funds will be flowing into gold before and after Bernanke drops rates by another 25-50 basis points on Wednesday. Gold's a trade, not a long-term investment.
