Hey, you guys are the ones with all of the Halo friends. I really just have a few friends IRL that happen to play Halo. You get us a third/fourth. Or Brand can just get on after the game and solve all our problems.
I'm in. I've been drinking, but give me a few games and I should be shooting like Paul Pierce /murder him.
That ain't enough to stop the man today. Remember, he got stabbed 11 times one month before the '00 NBA season and played every single game that season.

I kinda hated the graphical glitches, bad level design, and retarded story of Halo 2 when compared to the original.

The singleplayer campaign was pretty meh to me but being able to play through it with 4 players co-op AND have it keep score is pretty damn sweet. I'd put the campaign as better than 2's and worse than 1's.
I guess I wait for a $20 or less purchase someday, that's pretty much what I was expecting.

Ok. Here's the deal. I am sick and tired of my gamerscore being miles behind the rest of you. Up until now it hasn't really bothered me since I'm so high up on so many leaderboards for the games I DO have, but now I'm pretty upset by it. I just never really bothered trying to get achievements on the games I do own.
Anyway right now I need someone to play just the first three missions of halo 3 with me, for now, because I started the campaign on my own and then finished it with a friend so I got dick squat for it.
I'm awake now and I want to do it. Is anyone else game?
and all these multi achievements have to be in "ranked" free for all playlists...but there's only one fucking ranked free for all playlist, and it's lone wolves, and that sucks, because it's not always slayer. Fuck that.

You do realize it can be a lot easier to get some of the achievements when it's not slayer? When you're playing for kills/achievements and other people are playing for objectives, it actually makes things easier for a lot of them since most people won't even notice you running around just going for kills.Quote:

Got back from a weekend Halo LAN out of state. We played Halo 2. My god it's uglier than I remember.

He looks like a worse Opaque. His BR skills are average. The sniping skills are alright. There are two kills that look like no-scopes that are actually teammates picking off dudes near him.

lol why would we ignore that? His BR skills weren't that great, but the sniping was decent, especially the jump shots. I like how he properly dies every time he uses the mancannon.

Dude, it's a lot better than decent. Like, one of the best snipers in the game getting really really hot good. And I just rewatched the first half again, I don't know why you're saying the BR is bad because the two times he had a 1v1 BR fight he had a 5 shot and a 4 shot (this was when he was spawn camping though). But yeah, in Halo 3, unlike Halo 2, you have to lead the BR.
Also, I think it's ok to mess around a bit when your team is up 20. :lol:
That's what I'm saying, too many five shots. I'm not saying I'm as good, I get a lot of six shots personally, but for one of the best players I'm not really that impressed. Except for the sniping. Maybe I should just give his opponents credit. Or maybe I shouldn't, they didn't look too hot. All three of them were clustered up in the middle at one point and didn't get much done.
Let's walk it through: the first thing he does is hit a teammate with a grenade. Then he loses/bails on a BR battle but you can give him credit for not dying outright. He probably should have had snipes up in that spot. Then he gets a nice headshot. Then he surprises some guy and gets an easy five shot kill. Right now he's in that little spawn camp area with snipe. Then he misses a snipe. Finally he puts down a nice nade and gets a body shot no-scope. That kill was hot. Then he gets a nice jumping snipe headshot.
I mean, up to this point it's nothing I haven't seen before from a legion of players. The snipe kills are decent, like I said. Sniping in Halo is like playing a different game. All the good players look the same: They snipe. More grenade kills please.
It's not his BR skills that make him a great player, it's his decision making skills. A good BR can only get you so far.
Also, if you think Opaque never had 5 shots that's laughable (I also had a better BR than Opaque in Halo 2, so that also shows you're lack of knowledge on the topic :) ).
Nobody 4 shots every time, man. :p

Well I haven't really played Halo 3 with you guys at all so I can't comment. Opaque and Brand are both decent on snipe though.
I'd say I'm decent at the sniper. Meanwhile, that guy that lost to nocturne is pretty ridiculous at SWAT and snipes.

I was going to mention this. It's impressive how well he uses cover in the video. I'd say it's the most impressive thing. He's hardly too far from cover to survive and escape a losing duel, and even with no nade kills he uses them well to cover exits and shit. But spawncamping with snipe isn't impressive.Quote:
