$18? Big spender.
Not a bad tip though.
I can vouch that Biff is a very good tipper, as am I.
Respective the service industry.
Edit: Clarifying Biff has not tipped me for my services.
I've found that I don't tip anymore since I've moved here. Usually it's included, butmost of the time I will leave something and people will look at me like I'm crazy. Bar tabs don't even have a section to put tips in, at least as far as I've noticed.
Edit - What the fuck happened to my sig?
Great costumes Josh.
Yeah, but I also hear the service is sub-par because it's included.
My sister (who is a server for a high class restaurant in Newport Beach) went to Spain for a few weeks this summer, and she said since they're not making their money off the tips, they tend to not pour on the hospitality, and just give shitty service all around.
I used to bitch about tipping rates going up. First 10% then 15%, 18% now 20%. But now I see it as a blessing becuase I can really fuck the waiters I don't like.
"You're late. Again. That's -10%. Have fun working a double bitch."
I usually double the tax, then round up. Here in California (orange county, specifically) that equates to about an 18% tip. I find that to be sufficient, since I don't exactly consider a Olive Garden or Norms fine dining.
