Last night I went to Max's taphouse with Rebecca, Hubbitron, Type Ryan, Destin, Rich and Ramona. I had a Victory porter, A Flying Dog IPA (cask!) and half a sample glass of Worldwide Stout.
The Flying Dog was the jam. I've never had a cask pour before. Very low carbonation, it was really good. The Victory Porter was alright, I mean... I didn't pour it out or anything but I don't think I'd order one again. The Worldwide Stout is serious business, to the point that I wasn't up for finishing it. Really tasty, but I was full of spinach artichoke dip and mussels. I'm glad I grabbed four bottles of it the other day, I think they'll last me for a good year or so.
Flying Dog definitely makes some great brew. Their Road Dog porter is some of the best beer I've ever had. For some reason, Colorado beer is almost always top-notch.
I have a bottle of sake that I plan to down sometime this week.
I drink what I'm in the mood for and I love me a sake drunk.

Brown Shugga ftw. 2 pints of this 10% alcohol beer had me feeling good before I left Saturday night.
All the good beer is high alcohol it seems. Can anyone explain why?
