If you take like 6 of them or so, they'll do something. It's not a "high" like traditional drugs but there's definately an intoxication effect.

Sweet and sour mix is basically just lemon juice and sugar. You use it in pretty much any "sour" drink, like a whiskey sour, etc. You could make it from scratch, but a jug of the stuff is usually <$5, and it'll last you a good while (provided you're going strong on tequila and easy on the sour). You can find it at any liquor store or in w/the tonic water, pre-made mixers (steer clear) in the soda isle.

You need it in a marg b/c it makes the drink more tart and smooth at the same time, if that makes sense. Only having lime juice in there overwhelms the taste of the tequila (imo).

Grand Marnier is a fancy-pants triple sec. Floating some on top of the marg gives a little extra kick. A "Cadillac" marg made with top shelf ingredients typically calls for some Grand Marnier on top.

If you're going for cheap, just substitute a floater of lime juice instead.

Friday night, I got a call to go hang at a friends house for a quiet one, as he had his birthday party the next day. Within an hour we were drinking cheap wine and doing vodka shots. By the end of the night, there were more people there smashed than even turned up the next night, which turned into a quiet one due to us all having massive hangovers.

I went down to the bar at 5 to hang out with the girl who was bartending yesterday, planned to get a couple drinks and go home. I bought a couple, she bought me a couple, and the cook just kept coming out and making everyone shots. At 11:30 I sat down on the bench to smoke a cig and just about passed out. I was a wreck. Luckily a friend from highschool had just got there and he took my keys, helped me into my car and drove me home with the cook following him. I came in, drank two beers and passed out. I was FUCKED up.

First TNL death right here.

Could happen, a few friends have mentioned the possibility, and I wouldn't completely discount it.
