That makes more sense. I looked around the Comcast site and that speed upgrade is $10 extra instead of $5. The extra boost in speed sounds awesome though.

why last I check my upload speed was 2 and my download speed was 16.

edit: I'm on my sisters comp (my old one) and she has two HD TV's, five digital boxes, and two comps. And her speeds are 2.5 up/18 down.

Go here and take the speedtest. It'll give you a speed in kilobits or megabits. Convert it into kilobytes or megabytes over here. They are not the same thing.

Didn't you work for Comcast doing internet things?

If by internet things you mean ... posted on TNL while at work .. then yes I did.

If you mean internet things as my actual job ... no. I helped people with their bills and such.

Also: I did the speedtest and thats my speeds. 2 up and 16 down. My sisters 2.5 up and 18 down.
