They aren't the same thing, which is why I pointed out the two links. Obviously, this is beyond your grasp, so I'll display it graphically for you.

Not to mention that you have to login to xbl to even get to the first (TNL rollover) screen which provides zero info as to what you've played, what your completion % is, country rank, world rank, achievements/game, gamerscore/game, etc... They are, clearly, not the same.

Um, friends who are playing the same game as you who want to beat your score in a given game? Equally, why do I care about a Razor Ramon quote in a Josh sig or what MechDeus has been playing? TNL was boring the day I started this thread. Then the thread got a fair amount of posts, and overall TNL discussion picked up a bit.
