Official XBLA Thread

Aside from Gears, Halo, and some XBLA games, there's also the Cave games (though some are on iOS as well) and some game called Otomedius (though nobody cares about that one).

No, because 360 doesn't auto update at all. 360 may only store the last 10, but my point is that the PS3 claims to auto update but it only does the 10 last games played which is pointless.

Nope.. look at Limbo, Lara Croft, Hydrophobia, and Castle Crashers for other examples. "Exclusive" is very liberally thrown around these days. Hell, I think even Enchanted Arms has "Only on Xbox 360" right on the packaging.

At the time of its release, it was only on 360. Ps3 wasnt even out yet.

I think you're confused. The 360 and the PS3 both do SYSTEM updates, but the PS3 does them more often and they're really annoying. Both systems also do updates for individual games, but they only keep around 10 of your most recently played games updated by overwriting the data from the games that fall out of use. These are completely separate processes.

edit: I guess you mean the PS+ subscription feature that keeps your games updated specifically. Not sure how that works since I don't pay for PS+

I've been aware it was only recently played games since day one. Sony didn't hide this fact at all. I have no idea what you're crying about. How much shit do you want your PS3 to download every day? I've played probably 100+ games on there. I don't want shit that's long gone or never played anymore to tie up bandwidth.

This is the first I've heard of it and I asked around to everyone I knew with Plus and none of them knew it either... as for what I'm playing, I have people over every week and we play all kinds of games depending on what people are in the mood for. Lots of casual/party games, fighters, shooters, etc. It's annoying when you have a room full of people and you have to wait for a big update because it was something that was played 11th in the list. The games played on my Friday nights are usually different than the handful I play on my own during the week too. It's a very legitimate thing to play more than 10 games.
