Both games are pretty much unplayable these days due to frame-rate and control issues.
I think the Goldeneye: Source mod that came out a while back proves that the guns and multiplayer maps are still fun when you eliminate those problems with a modernized game engine/control scheme.
Goldeneye was always terrible.
Maybe, but considering that a lot of people didn't have the means of playing the "better" alternatives (which only existed on the PC), it still provided a fun experience.
Nope. Still shit.
FU haters. I love Goldeneye back then, but I got stuck in one mission (I think the one where it was timed) on Super Agent difficulty (or whatever the hardest diff was called). I wouldn't want to touch it now, but 10 years ago it was fun.
You dudes are F'N crazy. 007 was THE console multiplayer game to play from 1997 till Halo. For years and years - at every family get together we had, it was 007 taking up most of the nighttime hours. Good times.
Truth. The game was good but the problem is that it has legions of nutjob fans declaring it the best FPS ever several years after it was outdone by tons of similar games.Quote:
